- The Muscon started the European conference program on the initiative of VITRA Design Museum (Germany) in 1996.
- It was held in over 12 cities by the year of 2007. So far 94number of museum and cultural organizations (91 from Europe, 3 from US and others) participated such as London, Zurich, Prague, Rotterdam, Milan Weil am Rhein , Groningen and lots more cities from Europe.
- Seoul is the very first hosting city from Asia.
